Why we exist
Most of us have held ATOM for years. We watched the interchain get built, watched dozens of chains launch and do well, and watched almost none of it reach the asset we were holding. The technology was never the missing piece. Everything needed to close that gap has been available for a long time, and it has become increasingly clear that waiting for someone else to make the change stopped feeling like a plan.
So we took the matter in our own hands and started a validator to support our mission of building products and services to make ATOM great again. We just keep our heads down and build for ATOM on this wasteland, like what a true Cosmonaut should be doing.

Skin in the game
We only charge 5% commission. We would like to go lower but the current staking module config does not let us.
There will be no “ATOM Renaissance token”, no raise, and nothing set aside for insiders. Commission stays in ATOM and is not sold to fund development. We intend to keep compounding the commission for now, and will very likely use them to reward the people who delegated early in some way through our products.
What we build
vATOM is the first product: a zero-fee liquid staking for ATOM that never leaves the Hub. A CosmWasm contract holds ordinary delegations on the Hub itself, so there is no bridge, no interchain account and no oracle between you and your stake. Once again, the protocol fee is zero, and we have no way or intention to change it.
It is currently running on the ICS provider testnet at v dot atomup dot cc, and we would genuinely like people to try to break it before it goes near mainnet ATOM. Our DM is open on X at ATOMRenaissance and we welcome any feedback you may have.
Governance
We will be actively voting on governance proposals using our own best judgement. Of course, if you disagree with any of our votes, feel free to override them.
