We’ve been following how enterprises are evaluating Cosmos because of its modular architecture and interoperability. While scalability and sovereign chains are attractive, many businesses still ask questions about governance, validator selection, compliance, long-term maintenance, and integration with existing enterprise systems.

For developers or companies that have already built production applications on Cosmos, what challenges did you encounter after deployment?

I’m particularly interested in operational lessons rather than development tutorials.

One operational challenge that can be underestimated is determining who owns a user’s problem after deployment. Users usually report that a transfer is “stuck” or a balance is missing—they may not know whether the issue involves the application, wallet, IBC route, relayer, or destination chain.

I work in BD and Support at Gem Wallet, and clear transaction diagnostics, documented escalation paths, and a safe way to share troubleshooting information can make a major difference. Support tooling should ideally be treated as part of production infrastructure rather than something added after incidents begin.

I’d be interested to know whether the production teams here designed their support and escalation processes before launch or developed them in response to actual user cases.
