:loudspeaker: PUBLIC DOMAIN ARCHITECTURE: An Open-Source Community Framework

Ecosystem Participants, Validators, and Core Developers, The Interchain has spent years trapped in hyper-inflationary, dilutive print-and-dump loops. We have watched sovereign networks cannibalize each other for mercenary capital, creating deep liquidity fragmentation and economic dead-ends. To help address these systemic challenges, this three-part economic blueprint is being released completely into the public domain as an open-source framework: The Interchain Real-Yield Alliance. This trilogy is engineered as an interlocking, productive software accelerator designed to transform the core tokenomics of Stride, the Cosmos Hub, and Osmosis into a cohesive, asset-backed economic bloc. By modernizing token models, removing speculative primitives, and focusing entirely on active protocol-owned asset yield, this framework establishes a self-sustaining cycle that secures the network, provides deep capital to developers, and provides investors with a premier, non-dilutive asset income fund.

:hammer_and_wrench: Open for Public Audit, Forking, and Adaptation

This post opens an initial 14-day Public Comment and Economic Audit Window. These drafts are completely open-source, unrestricted, and belong entirely to the community. There are no centralized teams, required co-signers, or fixed agendas behind this initiative. This framework is a free public asset left on the forums for the ecosystem to adapt, optimize, and deploy as it sees fit. We invite core development teams, financial maintainers, and validators to collaborate directly in the comments below to dissect the technical specifications, adjust the percentage splits, tune the dynamic limits based on live mainnet data, and execute the localized on-chain voting pushes independently. The architectural specs are fully detailed below. The sandbox is officially open for public review, adaptation, and collective ownership.

1. Executive Summary & Validator Economic Protection Framework

This signaling proposal invites the Cosmos Hub community, core contributors, and validators to evaluate the programmatic implementation of an autonomous, multi-phase liquidity facilitation and tokenomic stabilization framework directly into the Hub’s state engine. To resolve decentralized exchange liquidity fragmentation, eliminate aggressive dilution, and drive organic utility to the ATOM token, this framework structures the Hub’s token mechanics and treasury interactions into a self-scaling, automated acceleration engine.

Validator Infrastructure Safeguards

A primary consideration of this architecture is the long-term financial viability of our validator node operators. Historically, high nominal token inflation has been utilized to subsidize validator server overhead. However, this model creates a structural trap: aggressive token dilution suppresses ATOM’s valuation, forcing validators to continuously sell a larger volume of tokens into a weakening market just to cover fixed fiat operating costs. This framework breaks that cycle by protecting validator purchasing power via two distinct mechanisms:

  1. The Real-Yield Shield: By compressing baseline inflation to a tight 4.00% to 8.00% range, the structural sell-pressure on ATOM is heavily mitigated. Validators retaining commission rewards experience significant real purchasing power expansion, as their underlying assets are no longer subjected to hyper-dilutive supply expansion.

  2. Systemic Infrastructure Fortification: Exactly 100% of the active swap fees and yield revenues generated by the Phase 6 POL pools are automatically routed right back to natively compound the underlying reserve principal. This un-degradable capital anchor permanently hardens the intrinsic asset-backed value of the ledger, optimizes baseline capital density, explicitly stabilizes cross-chain bridge corridors, and heavily protects the validators’ physical server infrastructure from systemic Interchain market panics.

A successful YES vote authorizes the engineering staff to prioritize the technical exploration and phased mainnet deployment of these modules natively via the Hub’s block-by-block state machine. The technical teams are granted complete timeline flexibility to ensure all Interchain Accounts (ICA) and Interchain Queries (ICQ) code pathways are perfectly safe and audited prior to activation. To ensure absolute fiscal discipline, the Hub’s capital principal is protected at all times via localized first-loss vaults, while all generated yields are cleanly locked to natively autocompound the core pools on autopilot.

2. Phase 1: The 4%–8% Dynamic Inflation Stabilization Engine

The monetary foundation designed to shift ATOM from an inflationary security expense into a viable, predictable store of value.

  • Reconfigured Inflation Bounds: The Cosmos Hub’s native monetary policy algorithm is programmatically updated to establish a hard ceiling of 8.00% and a hard floor of 4.00% for dynamic inflation.

  • Normalization of Real Yield: By compressing the inflation ceiling down to 8.00%, the network minimizes aggressive token dilution. While nominal yields will adjust, the real yield retained by stakers expands significantly.

  • Spurring Ecosystem Liquidity: Lowering the baseline inflation penalty on unbonded tokens eliminates the pressure forcing investors to permanently lock up 100% of their capital just to avoid dilution. This frees up liquid ATOM to flow actively into Cosmos DeFi applications.

3. Phase 2: The Automated Venture-Liquidity Engine (AVLE) & Strict Global Allocation Caps

The framework establishes a systematic onboarding engine that automates initial capital provisioning for verified ecosystem lines to aggressively catalyze Cosmos DeFi activity.

  • The Trigger Gate: The AVLE module continuously monitors cross-chain IBC connections via ICQ. Any verified Cosmos SDK chain can apply on autopilot, provided the host network maintains a minimum of $50,000 USD in active, decentralized exchange liquidity for its native pair to filter out totally inactive or dead projects.

  • The 10.00% Dynamic Strategic Capital Allocation: To initialize the engine natively on Day 1 prior to active network fee collection, the state machine is authorized to execute a permanent Strategic Infrastructure Allocation of exactly 10.00% of the active Cosmos Hub Community Pool balance. This tranche is moved into an isolated, protocol-controlled AVLE reserve vault (establishing a starting principal of approximately $2,000,000 USD at current market floors). To maintain strict fiscal boundaries, this pool is hardcoded with a max ceiling of 20 premium partner chains, allowing the module to deploy a precise, dynamic matching liquidity package capped at a maximum of 0.50% of the total Community Pool per qualified network (~$100,000 USD maximum matching per chain). Once 20 networks are active, the trigger gate automatically locks until an active lease naturally expires and capital loops back to the vault.

  • The Zero Open-Market Slippage Execution Engine: To guarantee zero open-market slippage or downward price pressure on the ATOM token during initial deployment, the state machine is programmatically restricted from executing public asset swaps. The required 50/50 ATOM/USDC liquidity pairings must be acquired strictly via off-market, protocol-to-protocol Treasury OTC exchanges at a 30-day TWAP baseline before being injected natively into the matching accounts.

  • The First-Loss Vault Model: To preserve absolute capital safety for the Hub, the partner network’s matched assets must be locked into a hardcoded First-Loss Vault. In the event of a smart contract exploit, malicious code upgrade, or sudden economic collapse on the partner chain, the partner network’s side of the pool reserves is programmatically liquidated first to insulate and absorb the financial shock, protecting the Cosmos Hub’s capital principal from bearing the downside of external security failures.

4. Phase 3: The 180-Day Revolving Lease & The Unified 60/30/10 Revenue Split Framework

The standard 24-hour daily cycle harvests all protocol inflows and splits them into a single, unalterable macroeconomic matrix:

  • 60.00% Core Ecosystem Allocation: Funneled directly back to fund baseline community growth and network expansion, split natively into a tight secondary loop:

    • 80.00% of the Tranche (Treasury Loopback): Diverted back into the core Cosmos Hub Community Pool to act as a self-compounding internal asset engine.

    • 20.00% of the Tranche (Programmatic Incentive Escrow): Funneled into an autonomous, non-custodial incentives escrow module to fund an open-market ecosystem prize pool.

  • 30.00% Hard-Money Module Reserve Allocation: Targeted directly for the capital reserve module and split natively at the state layer into an atom-inclusive, pool-ready weighting to feed the programmatic supply-lockup squeeze:

    • 15.00% Native ATOM: Siloed directly at the state layer to serve as the baseline matching collateral.

    • 7.50% Native Bitcoin (BTC): Sourced via secure cross-chain wrappers to anchor the treasury with digital hard money.

    • 3.75% Tokenized Gold (PAXG): Sourced via highly secure on-chain gold primitives to establish a zero-correlation inflation shield.

    • 3.75% Yield-Bearing Ondo Dollars (USDY): Sourced via verified yield-bearing stable primitives to anchor the vault with a short-term Treasury cash flow engine.

  • 10.00% Dynamic Strategic Capital Allocation: Moved directly into an isolated, protocol-controlled AVLE reserve vault to automate initial capital provisioning and establish the stableswap buffer moat.

5. Open Pro-Rata Payout Verification Process

The disbursement of the 20.00% Programmatic Incentive Escrow to partner chains operates entirely via automated cryptographic proof verification and is open to any qualifying network:

  • Milestone A (Governance Integration): The partner app-chain must pass a binding local governance vote to natively integrate and accept ATOM as a valid transaction gas-fee option.

  • Milestone B (Oracle State Attestation): The Cosmos Hub state machine utilizes continuous Interchain Queries (ICQ) to read the partner chain’s block headers. The moment the ledger confirms ATOM gas transactions are live, the escrow account activates.

  • Milestone C (Dynamic Pro-Rata Yield Payout): Every 24 hours, the module calculates the volume of ATOM gas spent on the partner network relative to all other qualifying networks. The contract then releases a pro-rata fraction of the daily incentive stream based strictly on that network’s percentage of total interchain ATOM gas burn volume, executing a discrete cross-chain swap into the partner chain’s native token to fund their local community pool.

  • Milestone D (The Strategic Reserve Delegation Bonus): For any partner network that successfully implements a permanent 50/50 ATOM/stATOM hard reserve within their local DAO treasuries, the Cosmos Hub will programmatically redirect a proportional tranche of its validator delegation power straight to that partner chain’s active top-30 validator set, shielding their security layer while reinforcing mutual chain alignment on autopilot.

6. Phase 4: The Cross-Chain “Stableswap” Buffer Moat

An automated emergency backstop funded natively by the core revenue matrix to protect the peg stability of core liquid-staked assets and ecosystem primitives.

  • The Stableswap Buffer Vault: Programmatically funded by a dynamic portion of the 10.00% infrastructure allocation, this independent, automated defensive vault remains completely inactive and liquid during normal macro market conditions.

  • Defensive Peg Absorption: The vault’s oracle module tracks the 30-day TWAP of approved ecosystem pairs (e.g., stATOM / ATOM or native stablecoin pegs). If a black swan market shock causes a core pair to deviate or de-peg beyond a strict 2.5% volatility threshold, the Stableswap Buffer Moat triggers on autopilot.

  • The Shock-Absorber Execution: The vault instantly deploys liquidity into the fractured pool to absorb immediate selling pressure, flatten arbitrage slippage, and defend the peg. Once market stability returns and the peg normalizes for 14 consecutive network epochs, the contract programmatically halts deployment and begins a phased withdrawal of its protective liquidity, returning the assets safely to the Hub treasury.

7. Phase 5: Automated “Gasless” Infrastructure Subsidies

Wiping out cross-chain onboarding friction by utilizing the core infrastructure matrix to subsidize initial user transactions ecosystem-wide.

  • The Paymaster Subsidization Layer: Funded alongside the stableswap module via the 10.00% infrastructure allocation, the Hub deploys these assets to establish a decentralized network of Paymasters and Gas Relayers.

  • Frictionless Onboarding: When a fresh wallet interacts with an approved ecosystem partner chain via IBC, the Hub’s automated paymaster module covers the micro-fraction of a cent required for the user’s first few transaction fees. This completely removes the barrier of needing to acquire native gas tokens before trading, aggressively accelerating user adoption and trade velocity across all partner networks.

8. Phase 6: The Programmatic ATOM Supply-Lockup Squeeze

Because the protocol automatically routes a fixed 15.00% of net total revenues directly to capture native ATOM, pair it, and inject it straight into deep decentralized exchange nodes alongside the blue-chip assets, it establishes an un-gameable lockup siphon. Liquid ATOM is systematically pulled out of open circulating supply and locked permanently into the core ATOM / BTC, ATOM / PAXG, and ATOM / USDY pairs. This continuously shrinks free-floating market supply, providing a rising floor of asset-backed scarcity that directly scales the Hub’s long-term tokenomic durability as network transaction velocity grows. The Hub retains permanent, un-dilutable ownership of the underlying principal pools. Rather than routing yields out to external modules, 100% of all ongoing trading fees, swap rewards, and native protocol interest generated by these three core POL pairs are programmatically harvested and routed directly back to buy, pair, and natively compound the underlying reserve pools on autopilot, expanding the absolute collateral backing of the network block-by-block.

9. Conservative Risk Circuit Breaker & Fallback Safety

  • The 2.5% Oracle Disconnect Trigger: If an external lending pool or automated money market utilized by the Hub’s cross-chain modules experiences an oracle deviation or bad-debt spike exceeding 2.5% outside standard operating parameters, the circuit breaker fires instantly. The Hub’s state machine executes an immediate, total withdrawal of 100% of its collateral back to the safe, native Cosmos Hub ledger.

  • Fallback Storage Protocols: If an active cross-chain ICA channel or IBC connection drops during an emergency withdrawal, the assets are programmatically diverted and securely locked in native fallback storage parameters on the Hub until the channel heals, ensuring zero protocol capital remains exposed to external cross-chain vulnerabilities.

10. Sovereign Modular Protection Clause

To preserve the absolute neutral sovereignty of the Cosmos Hub ledger and insulate its core protocol from unexpected cross-chain technical dependencies, asset bridge compromises, or black swan market failures, the technical maintenance team is granted the programmatic authority to deploy an emergency network patch to isolate, target, and temporarily freeze the automated trigger of any single cross-chain phase (Phases 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6) if an external chain compromise, oracle failure, or critical IBC dependency exploit occurs. Furthermore, the integration with external networks is designated strictly as a non-binding signaling framework. The Cosmos Hub DAO retains 100% independent ownership over its local protocol parameters, gas fee settings, inflation thresholds, and treasury reserves, retaining the absolute sovereign right to adjust, downscale, or completely decouple from cross-chain funding channels via subsequent standard on-chain governance votes. Activating an isolated phase freeze serves as an independent circuit breaker to protect treasury principal, and is hardcoded to leave the Phase 1 Dynamic Inflation Stabilization Engine running in full, uninterrupted state continuation on the Cosmos Hub ledger.

11. Operational Oversight Committee Framework

To eliminate manual governance bottlenecks while maintaining human-in-the-loop safety, the administrative boundaries of this architecture are overseen by a dedicated, non-custodial council.

  • The Structure: Establish an on-chain Liquidity Facilitation Committee comprising trusted ecosystem core entities, technical maintenance contributors, and validator representatives.

  • The Scope: The committee is strictly prohibited from manually holding, moving, or accessing treasury funds. Their authority is restricted to managing the objective parameter updates of the smart contracts—such as updating whitelisted money markets, adjusting the top-30 validator safety mapping parameters, or tuning threshold percentages based on live gas and network constraints.

12. Core Ledger Signaling & Voting Options

  • YES: You support instructing the Cosmos Hub core technical teams to implement the Interchain Liquidity Facilitator Architecture (ILFA), its 4%–8% dynamic inflation parameters, the permanent Dynamic Strategic Capital Allocation framework, and its automated protections under a flexible, safety-first engineering timeline.

  • NO: You do not support this parameter change and prefer to maintain the status quo.

  • NO WITH VETO: You believe this proposal explicitly harms the network structure or treasury safety.

  • ABSTAIN: You choose to pass your voting weight to the majority consensus.

Let’s cut the nonsense once and for all: we must follow cold, hard data rather than baseless, fantastic utopias. It is time to listen to the market, to those who actually commit the capital, and to the operators working on the ground to secure this network. That is the only viable path forward.

While the proposal sounds idealistic on paper, it completely misunderstands market psychology and the multi-year lifecycle of an asset:

  1. Price is dictated by demand, not supply cuts: Assuming that slashing inflation automatically increases ATOM’s price is wishful thinking. Value is created by real adoption, transaction volume, and structural utility—not by engineering artificial scarcity on a network without sufficient organic demand.

  2. Instant unbonding shock and capital flight: Slashing the APR overnight from ~19.7% down to 4%–8% will trigger an immediate exodus. Capital is mercenary; institutional holders and delegators will not sit through an 80% yield cut. They will unbond and rotate their liquidity into competing networks with attractive, reliable returns.

  3. The multi-year reality: The “Penny-Stock Trap” (A simple example):

What actually happens over the next 2 to 3 years once the anchor capital and whales exit?

    • The crash to rock bottom: Large holders dump their bags during the unbonding cycle, driving ATOM to historical lows.

    • The trader’s playground: Once long-term institutional delegators are gone, serious capital won’t step in to “hold.” Instead, ATOM becomes a hyper-volatile penny stock. Opportunistic scalpers and day traders will step in at the absolute bottom just to ride a quick 20%–30% relief bounce, only to dump it immediately at the next resistance level.

    • A degraded, disposable token: The token gets trapped in endless, violent rollercoasters—sharp crashes followed by brief speculative spikes, repeating indefinitely at depressed valuations. No serious enterprise, DeFi protocol, or institution will build on or adopt a core asset whose only practical utility has been reduced to an intraday speculative casino token. Instead of becoming “digital reserve gold”, ATOM is degraded into an unstable, discarded asset.

  4. Existential network security collapse: A network dominated by mercenary scalpers and drained of staked capital becomes dangerously cheap to attack. When the bonded ratio plummets, the cost to corrupt consensus drops proportionally, destroying Cosmos Hub’s primary value proposition: shared security.

  5. Ignoring Gauntlet’s paid quantitative data: The Hub funded thorough, empirical research by Gauntlet. Their quantitative findings explicitly demonstrated that high nominal staking inflation is not the bottleneck—the core issue is the acute lack of product market fit, organic transaction fees, and liquidity. Why are we discarding paid, professional data to pursue untested economic theories?

  6. Decimating independent validators: Server infrastructure, low-latency bandwidth, and operations are paid in fiat (USD/EUR), not theories. Slashing emissions to 4% will bankrupt smaller, independent validators who rely on commission fees to keep their hardware running, consolidating consensus into a handful of corporate giants and destroying Cosmos’s Nakamoto coefficient.

  7. The illusion of ‘Real Yield’ reserves: Proposing to buy BTC, PAXG, and USDY from protocol revenue sounds great, but where is that revenue coming from? The Hub currently lacks the fee volume to fund meaningful treasury reserves, putting the cart miles ahead of the horse.

Any monetary policy overhaul must be gradual, market-tested, and strictly grounded in empirical data—not an ideological shock that drives away the very capital keeping this network alive.

Thank you for this sharp and rigorous critique. It highlights the exact concerns a monetary policy shift must address. However, a deep data audit reveals that your core fears—catastrophic capital flight, low revenue volume, and validator bankruptcy—are entirely answered by the mathematical stabilizers and cross-chain mechanics built into this framework.

Let’s look at the cold, hard data of how this actually operates on the ground:

1. The Staking Yield Math (Conflation of Inflation vs. APR)

Your argument assumes that stakers face an absolute, overnight yield collapse. But you are completely conflating Global Total Supply Inflation with Individual Staker Yield.

The proposed 4.00% to 8.00% figures do not represent static cuts to individual wallet rewards; they represent the self-regulating bounds of the network’s global printing rate. Because this global issuance is distributed exclusively to bonded wallets, the individual staker APR behaves as an automated stabilizer tuned directly to capital behavior:

  • At Baseline Stability (65% Bonded Ratio): The self-regulating engine compresses global total supply inflation down to its lower bound of 4.00%. Distributed exclusively across the active staking pool, it delivers an individual nominal Staker Yield of ~6.15%.
  • If Mercenary Capital Exits (Bonded Ratio Drops to 50%): The dynamic global total supply inflation automatically expands up to its upper bound of 8.00%. Because this global block issuance is now splitting across a significantly smaller pool of remaining active wallets, your individual nominal Staker Yield instantly vaults to 16.00%.

The entire engine is completely autonomous, non-custodial, and fully self-regulating. If mercenary whales attempt to dump and flee during an unbonding cycle, the ledger detects the drop in consensus density and automatically concentrates token issuance into the smaller pool of remaining active wallets. The system self-corrects, shields the network’s security layer, and aggressively rewards long-term capital on autopilot.

2. Sourcing the Capital: Where the Money Comes From, How ATOM Earns It, and How Much

You note that the Hub’s native transaction fee volume is currently low. But you are looking at the Hub in total isolation. This model does not rely on high native transaction volumes today to fund its treasury reserves; it operates on a direct, linear order of operations that starts entirely with the native power of the Hub’s own treasury:

  • Where the Capital Originates (The Genesis Ignition): Everything starts entirely with the initial 10.00% allocation from the Cosmos Hub Community Pool, utilizing existing un-bonded treasury assets so the Hub does not need high native transaction fees to start.
  • How ATOM Earns It (The Capital Provisioning Loans): The state engine takes that 10.00% tranche and deploys it as automated, protocol-controlled liquidity packages—acting as liquidity loans—straight to qualified new partner chains via the Automated Venture-Liquidity Engine (AVLE).
  • Strict Programmatic AVLE Requirements: To eliminate discretionary risk, the partner chains never touch or spend the raw ATOM capital for operations. The capital is programmatically locked strictly into a 50/50 ATOM/Partner-Asset liquidity pool to bootstrap trading depth on the partner chain’s local decentralized exchange nodes. To unlock a single cent, the host network must lock up an equal value of its own native token. Furthermore, the partner network’s matched tokens are locked into a hardcoded First-Loss Vault to completely insulate and protect the Cosmos Hub’s underlying capital principal from external security failures.
  • How Much the Revenue Scales (The AMM LP Trading Fees): Because these capital packages are locked strictly into deep liquidity nodes, the Hub programmatically captures pure AMM LP trading fees from the ongoing transactional swap volume on those venues. This initial fee revenue behaves as seed capital to gradually trigger, build up, and scale wider DeFi activities and deeper liquidity across the entire alliance.
  • The Phase 6 Blue-Chip Reserve & Autocompounding Engine: As these initial revenue streams scale, exactly 30.00% of net protocol revenues are programmatically targeted for the Hard-Money module. The state layer converts these fee inflows via discrete TWAP streaming into a pristine, asset-backed core reserve: 15.00% native ATOM, 7.50% native Bitcoin (BTC), 3.75% tokenized Gold (PAXG), and 3.75% yield-bearing Ondo Dollars (USDY). Rather than routing these yields out, 100% of all ongoing trading fees, swap rewards, and native protocol interest generated by these pairs are programmatically harvested and routed directly back to natively compound the underlying reserve pools on autopilot, expanding the absolute collateral backing of the network block-by-block.
  • Deepening Liquidity & Strengthening Bridges: Maintaining these deep, protocol-owned liquidity (POL) corridors for hard money assets natively on the Interchain builds an un-degradable economic buffer. These deep pools eliminate cross-chain arbitrage bleed and maximize baseline capital density layer-wide. By providing an ever-expanding pool of native blue-chip liquidity, the Hub permanently fortifies cross-chain bridge corridors against regional network panics, acting as an automated shock absorber to defend pool stability without forcing users to rely on dangerous wrapped asset proxies or high-slippage third-party venues.
  • Ecosystem DeFi Growth Velocity: By establishing a predictable, asset-backed collateral base across our partner chains, we trigger a massive expansion of wider Interchain DeFi activity. Deep, non-extractive liquidity pools serve as the foundational infrastructure that allows secondary money markets, collateralized lending protocols, and structural yield vaults to flourish natively throughout the ecosystem. This explosive growth in cross-chain DeFi utility accelerates overall transaction velocity, expanding the network’s transactional volume on autopilot.
  • The Exponential Fiat Scaling Loop: Because this is a percentage-based architecture rather than a static dollar amount, the entire engine scales automatically as the network succeeds. As ATOM’s price appreciates and the underlying size of the Community Pool expands, the real fiat (USD) value of that 10.00% allocation tranche automatically expands with it. This allows the Hub to deploy larger capital packages and liquidity loans to more partner chains, driving higher trading fee velocity straight back into the treasury vaults to compound the Hub’s financial power block-by-block.

3. Protecting Independent Validators via Real Purchasing Power

Your panic regarding smaller, independent validators being bankrupted by native emission adjustments ignores the reality of the current inflationary system. High nominal printing does not create fiat purchasing power; it splits the exact same protocol value across a rapidly expanding supply. Because ATOM’s aggressive dilution continuously suppresses its market valuation, independent validators are caught in a structural trap: to cover fixed monthly USD server costs in a declining market, they are forced to sell a continuously larger volume of their ATOM commission rewards every single month.

By compressing baseline inflation to a tight 4.00% to 8.00% range, the structural sell-pressure on ATOM is heavily mitigated. Validators retaining commission rewards experience significant real purchasing power expansion, as their underlying assets are no longer subjected to hyper-dilutive supply expansion. This framework is what actually saves independent validators from corporate consolidation.

4. Facilitating Ecosystem Growth

This framework does not introduce an “ideological shock” that drives away useful capital; it turns the Hub into the ultimate ecosystem facilitator. By compressing global supply expansion and launching the AVLE liquidity engine, the Hub automatically provisions matching capital into verified partner networks, establishing ATOM as the deep, asset-backed collateral layer underpinning all of Cosmos DeFi. This transitions ATOM out of an inflationary holding trap and restores its identity as the foundational, high-velocity money of the Interchain.

Haha fair play, highstakes. I’ll tone down the essay format. Writing out multi-chain tokenomic specs late at night makes me layout-poisoned, but I promise the math and the plumbing are 100% human-designed.

Let’s stick to the actual proposal: do you have any thoughts on the 4-8% inverse inflation feedback loops or the AVLE vault limits? Would love to hear your feedback on the code parameters. Also give it a full read. Don’t use the ai summary.

Ok, I will not argue any further or debate the hypothetical flaws in this latest case presented by @Gumby1, such as the toxic asset flow and impermanent loss in liquidity pools, the trap of an illusory 16% APR while the underlying token price collapses by 60%–70%, the non-negotiable fiat reality (USD/EUR) of monthly validator server bills, or ignoring Gauntlet’s paid quantitative data regarding the actual bottleneck of organic demand. I simply speak from hands-on market experience. Thanks.

Hey everyone, I wanted to give a brief rundown of my thought process on this so that you can be assured that I spent a good amount of time, effort, and thought in to this proposal draft. It is worth a full read. I used ai as it is intended to be used as a search engine. Automatic text drafter. We all know how unreliable it is at giving accurate information. I designed this proposal. I am not claiming it to be perfect or trying to one man it on chain myself. I am simply putting the ideas out there for the community to audit and to adopt if they want. The draft is long and technical because it has to be to have a chance of passing in a on chain vote. I tirelessly checked and checked all the language word by word for errors. My goal is to as you can see set the global ATOM inflation rate from the current 7-10 to the proposed 4-8. Regardless of the staking apr the real rate of inflation of ATOM is what really matters to investors if they are going to hold an asset. That and the belief that in the long run the buyers are going to outpace the sellers and the inflation. To do that we must consider lowering it to a more acceptable level for a POS network. This proposed new rate of 4-8 puts us right in the range of other POS networks. One of the things I love about Atom is that the inflation rate automatically adjusts as needed to keep the bonded ratio near an ideal 67%. So in my opinion this has to be done but in order to do it and not risk network security we need to find a way to extract revenue from an ecosystem we made sovereign. How can we do this? We need them to do it voluntarily. That is the only option we have. How do we do this? By facilitating the ecosystem. That is what section 3,4,5,6,7, and 8 are about. A short summary is that all these things facilitate the cosmos ecosystem and create the baseline conditions for growth. Regarding the blue-chip reserve directly. It is not meant to turn ATOM into a proxy for BTC and PAXG. It is a small portion of the protocols total revenue stream and it goes towards building native liquidity in the ecosystem as well as another voluntary revenue stream captured from the ecosystem as trading activates increase. It also just makes good business sense for a global network to have a blue chip reserve. Impermanent loss may be a concern for some people but it is covered in many ways as there are lots of safety measures and buffers built into the system. It is specifically covered in the Sovereign Modular Protection Clause in section 10. It states… To preserve the absolute neutral sovereignty of the Cosmos Hub ledger and insulate its core protocol from unexpected cross-chain technical dependencies, asset bridge compromises, or black swan market failures, the technical maintenance team is granted the programmatic authority to deploy an emergency network patch to isolate, target, and temporarily freeze the automated trigger of any single cross-chain phase (Phases 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6) if an external chain compromise, oracle failure, or critical IBC dependency exploit occurs. Community I hope I can win your support today.

Framework Update: Modular Independence and a Forward Path for Ecosystem DeFi

Given the recent wind-down announcement from the Stride team, I want to formally update this thread to clarify my position, outline the modular flexibility of this architecture, and state my ongoing commitment to the future of the Interchain.

My primary thesis for accumulating and holding Stride was simple: it served as the premier utility mechanism to gain broad, unified exposure to all the highest-performing blue-chip assets across the Cosmos ecosystem. With Stride transitioning its operations, that exposure layer leaves a massive structural vacuum. This reality does not break the framework I have laid out here; it makes the Cosmos Hub’s responsibility to step up and facilitate native liquidity vastly more urgent.

1. Complete Modular Independence
Parts 1, 2, and 3 of this master proposal framework were intentionally engineered as decoupled, independent modules. The Cosmos Hub monetary stabilization layer (Part 1) and the Automated Venture-Liquidity Engine (AVLE) have zero software dependencies on external app-chains.

The core mechanics—compressing global total supply inflation to the self-regulating 4.00% minimum and 8.00% maximum bounds and deploying the 10.00% Community Pool tranche inside a secure First-Loss Vault—remain 100% viable, safe, and operational. If a participating network exits the arena, the Hub simply updates its partner route configuration to point toward alternative liquid staking protocols or native routing corridors on Osmosis.

2. The Bulletproof Nature of the Inverse Math
As a reminder to the validation layer auditing these parameters, the physics of the native Cosmos SDK mint module completely protect the network from unbonding shocks. If the network sits stable at a 65% Bonded Ratio, global supply inflation contracts to its 4.00% floor (yielding an individual Staker APR of ~6.15%). If capital attempts an unbonding flight and the ratio drops to 50%, the inverse feedback loop automatically expands global inflation to its 8.00% ceiling, concentrating block rewards into fewer active hands to instantly vault individual staker yield to a highly competitive 16.00% nominal APR on autopilot to defend the ledger over time.

3. Continuing the Fight for Interchain Value Capture
While I am entirely opting out of alternative treasury management models or specific third-party bidding platforms whose direction I do not align with, my belief in the core economic engine of Cosmos DeFi remains completely unbroken. Moving forward, I am focusing 100% of my support, focus, and capital directly onto the two foundational pillars of the ecosystem: ATOM and OSMO.

The future of the Interchain depends on turning these two core assets into hyper-scarce, highly productive, asset-backed collateral layers that actively capture protocol fees rather than bleeding value through hyper-dilutive printing. This framework remains open, fully audited, and pinned to the public domain as the definitive architectural blueprint to achieve that safety. The math is on the board, the plumbing is verified, and the blueprint belongs entirely to the community now. Thank you to everyone who took the time to review and audit these parameters.
