Some key points (that personally stood out):

Validators start off with to much power. making their voting power flat self-stake would make everyone equal.

but our model doesn’t want to crush validator power, just rebalance. We think that this will mostly happend with the LSM (liquid staking module) if we improve it by adding a “Vote Transport” function that moves the vote along with the liquid staked representation.

after separating security and gov, what stops the councils from voting to pay themselves the treasury, and minting 40 million more atom?

Not sure how to feel about your ideation being based off of XRP(?). Have not explored their ecosystem to have an opinion, but I digress.

There is a clear, significant difference in:

• amount bonded VS.
• self stake VS.
• LSM stake

from our Hub validators.

How often are we seeing:

validators casting ‘abstain’ votes on topic influencing on their revenue or other topics

versus seeing (referencing @Tagu’s post: " Validators.. The Cancer of Cosmos?")

pushing proposals to: extract value, set a minimum commission, receive incentives for themselves, allocate money to their friends and redirect the rewards of holders to the community pool to extract more money.

Unless there is misunderstanding here, liquid staking should not be utilized as a means to redistribute, wrt voting:

Remaining Question(s):

1. With the tax back to 2%, what is stopping top validators from:
   a) forming new extensions of validators simply to help reach quorum RE voting
   b) COI’s (conflicts of interest) when Validators, with affiliates, RE voting
