I conducting project research about DAOs in known blockchain projects.
As part of potential changes in decentralization, I try to examine major changes in the voting process. For example, the need to change the initial staking or deposit amount for submitting a proposal and make it less approachable for users to prevent spam.
On the contrary, increases the veto to prevent the simplification of disqualification.
How do such processes occur in the cosmos DAO? Is there a special path to such a proposal or is it through the classic multi-step process?
At Govmos, we are deeply engaged in discussions surrounding DAO governance mechanisms. If you’re conducting research, we would be more than happy to arrange a call with one of our representatives to explore this topic further. For context, we supported the recent increase in the proposal deposit requirement to 500 ATOMs and actively participate in governance initiatives across the Cosmos ecosystem. One of our team members, Phil_RX, is a key contributor to several DAOs, including Cosmos Hub and Osmosis, and would be an excellent resource for your research.
