Helloooooooooooo my fellow Cosmonauts!
Starting at 8 PM EST tonight, I’m opening up .atom to free + gas fee’s domain registration.
Why?
To accelerate adoption, of course, and to showcase all of the other Atom Registry products.
There will be a 1 .atom domain per wallet policy but other than that, it’ll be open registration.
Names… There are domain names that, for my own reasons, I would never own.
That’s just me, though, and decentralization requires that I don’t impose my values on others. I don’t get to be the domain police of the world for the sake of my own preferences, or to spare someone’s feelings.
So yeah, 1 .atom domain name per wallet is it. That’s so everyone has a fair shot at a cool name.
