As a long-term staker and sovereign user, I welcome the quantitative expertise Gauntlet brings to ATOM’s tokenomics. However, I must express a clear condition for my continued support: Neutrality and Censorship Resistance.
Having migrated from ecosystems like Injective due to aggressive IP blocking and corporate-centric gatekeeping, I view Cosmos as the last pastion of true sovereignty. My commitment to the Hub depends on ATOM remaining a permissionless infrastructure.
If ‘enterprise adoption’ implies a shift toward OFAC-compliant censorship at the protocol level or restrictive interfaces that alienate individual users, the Hub will lose its core value proposition. We need value capture, but never at the expense of the ‘Permissionless’ nature that defines Us.
Finally, I want to express my sincere gratitude to the Cosmos contributors for maintaining the Hub’s sovereign virtues for so many years. Along with Bitcoin and Ethereum, I consider Cosmos a fundamental pillar of the crypto ecosystem, offering a rare combination of real usability, high performance, and true decentralization.
My best wishes go to the team; I remain committed to the project as long as it maintains the profound coherence and integrity that have always defined it. Let’s build a future where enterprise growth and individual sovereignty coexist without compromise.
So I will be closely monitoring how this redesign impacts decentralization. And, again, for us, sovereignty is not negotiable.
