Add Consumer Chain Add consumer chain proposals are for adding a new consumer chain to Cosmos Hub’s replicated security. Client Update Client update proposals are for replacing an expired IBC client with an updated one. CHIPs CHIPs describe standards for the Cosmos Hub, including core protocol specifications, feature implementations, and more. Software Upgrade Software Upgrade proposals are used to coordinate all full nodes to upgrade to the same new software at a specified block height. Parameter Change Parameter Change proposals are for changing one of the parameters in the Hub’s code. Information about Param Change proposals is presented in the Cosmos Hub documentation. Community Spend Community Spend proposals are for requesting $ATOM from the Cosmos Hub Treasury. Information about Community Spend proposals is presented in the Cosmos Hub documentation. Signaling/Text Signaling or ‘text’ proposals are for having an on-chain record of support for an idea.
