Cosmos Hub Phone Service

One of the coolest projects I’ve been working on is turning Atom Registry TLD owners into real mobile carrier id providers.

When full mobile service launches, every TLD you own becomes your own phone number & ID issuance platform, all fully on-chain and wallet-enabled on Cosmos Hub:

Issue decentralized IDs and phone numbers under your TLD
Users pay monthly subscriptions directly in ATOM
Everything runs over mobile internet (data) via WebRTC — voice, video, encrypted messaging & voicemail
Users can port in existing numbers or get new E.164 numbers linked permanently to their wallet-owned .name identity.

Mobile phone programming overview:

The entire system is built directly on Cosmos Hub smart contracts.

All signaling, encrypted payloads, voicemail transcripts, room state, and identity verification happen fully on-chain.

Users connect via any Cosmos wallet (Keplr, Cosmostation, Ledger), sign transactions directly, and own their phone identity forever.

No central servers — pure wallet-controlled, decentralized mobile comms.

You own the namespace and you collect ATOM every month.

No legacy carriers. No gatekeepers.

Just sovereign mobile identity powered by on-chain ownership.

The browser app is currently in beta testing at https://phone.atomregistry.com

(test calls, encrypted chat, voicemail transcripts, conference rooms)

TLDs still available at launch price (2.5 ATOM) → https://atomregistry.com

Who’s ready to run their own decentralized mobile network id service?

@atomregistry I have to take my hat off to you. Ideas after ideas… although it’s a bit of a geeky project for me, I’ll definitely grab a TLD for myself, hahaha. What a niche you’ve just brought up; if it really works, it’s the bomb! As a long-term investor, I can see the possibilities, and little lightbulbs are starting to light up in my head that I need to map out, especially regarding business privacy.

But here I am going to be a bit critical with you, and I apologize in advance. Regarding the problem we are facing right now, I must tell you that I am much more focused on getting ATOM out of its lateral movement than on starting to invest in more projects (pardon the redundancy, as my main investment focus is strictly ATOM itself).

That said, creating a system that forces the ecosystem to spend and lock ATOM for subscriptions is exactly the kind of real utility our network needs. Great work on building it. Keep pushing!

no offense intended, i need the criticism alot more than an apology for giving it. phone service is an easy lift, check out https://gigs.com/ and you’ll see what i mean. the real job is the data packet for the phones built as a Cosmos centric device, which is definitely in my wheelhouse. i see a smart device as more than just a means of communication. i am turning them into a profit center, too. once the Cosmos Hub community really understands the power of the tld’s, i’ll need to upgrade the server to keep up with traffic.

the staging site at Business Document Vault | Cosmos Hub can give everyone a glimpse of case use and utility.

use atomregistry.docs for the domain.

use 235c7b7f5c720d92d42da18e95efaf11d7ce0ba6bd7a45f91f5857877c3a5783 for the hash.

here is where the doc is stored.

everyone on Cosmos Hub can grab a domain and run a business now if they want.
