Interests not paid after staking Cosmos

Hello,

I have just noticed that I’m not receiving anymore interests on my staked Cosmos-Atom.

After initially staking them, I received daily rewards for nearly a week. Now I’m no longer receiving them for six days

Does anyone have any thoughts or experience on these?

Regards

could it be your validator is inactive or jailed?

3 options:

-Validator is jailed

-Your tokens are unbonding

-Validator is charging 100% commission

How’s it possible to know who the validator is?

By “unbonding” you mean “unstaking”? If so not the case.

I am not aware of who the validator is

You can easily find this in your wallets dashboard. Keplr I assume?

I use Revolut, they refuse to disclose the validator

Revolut was onboarded by Kiln as i know

Hi Mick,

I have the very same issue here, also using Revolut, and the last interest was paid out to me at 09.09.

I contact Revolut support but they have not explained anything, AI chat.

Thank you for your feedback,

It would be interesting to know the magnitude of the issue, so far we are just two.

I’m also using Revolut. Only started staking about a week ago but so far no reward received. Revolut constantly shows reward expected in ~1day.

The point here would be understanding whether the issue is on the Revolut side or on the Cosmos side.

Very poor transparency, they highlight the risks of investing in crypto assets, by then never mentioned that interests can be stopped all of a sudden.

Apparently, now you can’t even unstake, therefore we are trapped in there without gaining rewards.

100% on Revolut

The ones stacking natively on-chain have no issue claiming rewards. If you want to avoid behind subject to your middleman (revolut) interferences you could make some research on how to go on-chain and stake. Keplr is pretty easy wallet to use

To truly experience Cosmos staking, it is important to distinguish between custodial solutions such as Revolut and on-chain self-custody.

When staking through Revolut, you are essentially delegating control of your assets to a centralized custodian. This has several implications:

  • Rewards are unlikely to be passed on in full, as most custodians retain a share of the yield.
  • Governance rights are not transferred to you, meaning you cannot participate in the decision-making process of the Cosmos Hub.
  • Eligibility for airdrops is usually lost, since centralized custodians are often excluded — or may simply keep the benefits themselves.

By contrast, self-custody allows you to delegate directly to validators of your choice, retain all governance power, capture full staking rewards, and remain eligible for ecosystem incentives. More importantly, it embodies the very principle of crypto ownership.

For anyone seeking the genuine Cosmos experience, we strongly encourage moving away from custodial intermediaries and engaging directly with the network.

We hope these arguments will help you make the on-chain move!
If you look for a competent validator with the lowest commission (there is a mandatory minimum of 5%), our team at PRO Delegators would be very happy to have you onboard.

We discourage staking with custodial platforms, like Revolute and centralized exchanges. It’s not good for network security, they generally charge hefty commissions, funds are often difficult to get back, and you’re disqualified from claiming Cosmos airdrops.

However, withdrawing your tokens to a noncustodial wallet comes with responsibility. We have a wallet security article on our website you may find helpful. Crypto Wallet Security - ATLAS STAKING

We also keep track of Cosmos airdrops, if you’d like to claim any once you withdraw your crypto from Resolute and stake with a noncustodial validator like us, or Pro Delegators. Cosmos Airdrops - ATLAS STAKING

Keplr is my favorite wallet https://keplr.app and staking in-wallet is super simple. Here’s a tutorial: Stake ATOM Using Keplr - ATLAS STAKING
