Standing Still is Not a Strategy: The War is Today, and We Need to Act NOW!
I have always been, and always will be, pro-innovation. Let’s be real: the true war out there is against Solana and Ethereum. And while they are taking giant leaps and executing, we are a step behind, spending months debating. This is tech and crypto; here, a month of paralysis is equivalent to over a decade for a traditional company. We are aging rapidly compared to the competition.
Staying entrenched in our impregnable bunker, waiting for things to be solved by divine intervention while bombs drop around us, is the fastest path to irrelevance. We cannot just sit and watch our coin slowly devalue through inflation while other networks capture all the capital.
If we want to survive and make Cosmos truly great, we have to follow the money. Money demands utility, real yield, and above all, speed. We need good projects and we need to deploy them NOW!
I understand the fears of losing the Hub’s “purity,” but the risk of just letting time pass by doing nothing is much greater. This proposal to integrate CosmWasm in a Permissioned way is exactly what we need: a calculated risk. It allows us to open the doors to new business models and revenue streams for the network, while we maintain absolute control at the gates.
We cannot be afraid to grow. In this war, you either innovate and invest to win, or you die a slow death. You have my full support to take this step forward once and for all.

I got so fired up writing about our need to innovate that I mixed up my notes and mentioned the CosmWasm proposal! My apologies for the slight confusion there.
However, my core message and philosophy stand 100% for this thread. As @l.malkowsky rightly pointed out, @atomregistry is one of the few builders who consistently delivers. If his goal is to make the Cosmos Hub the undisputed boss, he has my full backing.
Bringing a native Stable Asset directly to the Hub is exactly the kind of aggressive, value-driven move we need. We must stay one step ahead because in this industry, the one who arrives first takes the market, the one who arrives second takes the leftovers, and the rest simply disappear.
If we know that having this infrastructure is a prerequisite for big institutional and Wall Street-level proposals to come into play, let’s get it advanced now. Institutional money needs native, secure liquidity; they won’t play around with fragile bridges.
We cannot afford to make the worst mistake in the crypto world: losing time. This isn’t about blind ambition, falling into egocentrism, or the selfish desire just to have more. It’s about growing and surviving in this jungle. It’s about identifying where we are failing—which is exactly what we hired Gauntlet for—and moving forward. Let’s back the people who are actually building and get our house ready for the big leagues before they even knock on the door. You have my support for this Stable Asset. Let’s get it done!

Well yeah, it’s done! I built a legit stable asset pegged 1:1 to USDC, but to do so, I had to create a new class of asset layered directly on Cosmos Hub. I’ll make a separate post to properly explain what I did. Cosmos Hub has a pegged stable asset platform now.
