An organizational psychology perspective on Cosmos (with a few initial recommendations)

If my last act is to take everyone who committed chicanery against me, other Cosmonautrs like Taariq and Shane, and countless others, down to an influence of zero for Cosmos, that’s perfectly fine with me. The real crime is to not speak out.

Tolerance of evil is in itself evil.

It’s easy to look at many people commenting in one direction, and to conclude that because of social traction, their opinion must be true. If we all regularly affirmed the truth when this was happening, instead of calling them “crazy” or “deranged” (I see no problem using these pejoratives when appropriate against the perpetrators, but to the person alerting the public to crime, is itself “crazy” and “deranged”.)

But you also need to ask yourself, “are they misleading the public on purpose”? And it is completely rational and sane (not deranged, or crazy) to consider that the answer may very well be “Yes, they are misleading you and everyone on purpose”.

  1. we are in the middle of WW3, not “about to enter it”.
  2. the vaccine mainstream narrative is being rolled back and people are waking up.
  3. the same organizations that have had their feelers around Cosmos (such as the WEF) have as its primary objectives the (a) the vaccine mandate & lockdowns (b) digital identity and citizen score (c) transition to decentralized blockchain ledgers. Aka the mark of the beast.
  4. they halted the world for two years; they have the resources and the motive to subvert our movement 1000%.
  5. WEF had reached out to AIB/Tendermint, despite my strongest objections, while I was gone.
  6. I was INVITED to go to DAVOS by who I suspect is a handler, and I refused; from what I know Brian Crain did go; overall a minor point.
  7. since then I have rejoined as CEO of AIB/Tendermint and cut out the cancer, including a digital identity product they tried to launch under the AIB brand marketed FOR THE PURPOSE OF VACCINE PASSPORTS. (if I don’t say all this, they will slander me as being in bed with the WEF due us being labeled a “tech pioneer” by them, while I was gone).
  8. As mentioned above, George Soros connections, and what can easily be perceived from my end as RACKETEERING over many years from members of a company, especially with criminal neglect of basic duties, criminal use of secrecy, criminal neglect of others’ criminality…

Everyone who supposes that the things mentioned here are mere “crazy” “delusional” conspiracy theories are doing the misleading, and are doing so maliciously, or are criminally retarded and have no place holding $ATOM or positions of power in the ICF, or in any of our fucking heads living rent free solely due to their privileges that were vested upon them by others, many of them in this case by myself.

The reason why they have any authority at all is because I invited them, and for that I am sorry.

Thanks so much for this. First of all, when you talk about feeling lonely and being pushed to the limits of your competencies and emotional bandwidth, that sounds really hard. And thank you for sharing your writings from 2018. I hope you have a good support structure, and obviously, if you ever want to chat, I’d be happy to.

Once again, I’d be curious to hear about experiences with coaches and what’s worked and what hasn’t. So much of this job comes down to some sort of ineffable chemistry. I have some clients who think I’ve changed their life, and others who didn’t seem to get anything out of our time together. It’s a humbling job in that way, I’ll tell you that.

Can I just make one observation about the vision you described? (which I found inspiring, btw – I’m compelled by the metamodern philosopher Hanzi Freinacht’s idea of a future that moves so quickly that it becomes “chaos”, and that it’s up to us, right now, to set the “sensitive initial condition” so that it’s a “good” chaos; this is how I see (at least the potential of) Cosmos.

You say that ICF is “nurturing” the Hub, which “nurtures” the ecosystem, which “nurtures” the transformation of money and finance (and beyond, I’d argue). Nurturing is often associated with fertility, whether it’s nurturing plants from the ground or babies from the womb. And, crucially, it’s an archetypically feminine trait. It struck me – and I mean this with the greatest honor and respect – that Cosmos is the most feminine blockchain I’m aware of. (Maybe not an original thought, but it just came to me.)

But the culture of Cosmos is still extremely masculine. It’s not hard to identify the alpha males, who butt heads (or worse) with some regularity. Granted, there are some very successful and influential women in the ecosystem, but it still bears the hallmarks of good ol’ patriarchy. Now, that’s not meant as a slight, either – this is the world we live in.

Once again, I don’t have any specific recommendations around this, aside from “try making room for more female voices in the arena.” But I suspect that this core femininity could prove to be a secret weapon (or not a weapon, but a fertilizer) for Cosmos to bloom into something truly awesome.

“when you’re in confusion” he says to me, making assumptions.
then he goes on to ignore what is seemingly criminal racketeering.
then I make it clear that I’m expecting an apology but he just pretends like he doesn’t understand.

You’re literally always calling me out for conspiracy theories.
You’ve consistently mocked me for ever displaying paranoia about anything.
Take Pizzagate for example. Or that I consider David Hog to be some crisis actor.

WEF Antoine comes in scheming on how to create a new governance system for Cosmos. Instead of the hub as indicator of signal the first thing he proposes is to create a limited sample of 100 people. Fucking LOL. Still gets funding from the accelerator fund, is that right?

And now we have a psychologist who is going to help us resolve our issues, and people chiming in that our cultural values should be about not throwing rocks?

I did. Armenia was being bombed with Israeli weapons in fall, 2020. I’m Armenian. These things can do funny things to perspective.

And we’re aligned on likely the majority of insane conspiracy stuff, it’s mainly that you spend a great deal of time pondering Jews. I don’t.

I’m not disgusted by the organizational psychologist willing to take pretty significant risk to practice in public. Like you I figured he could be a patsy. I guess always keep that in the back of your head.

At the same time, I want to call back to my suggestions around forking, which were immature at the time – around the time of prop 82. Anyhow here are my current suggestions around forking;

  • two main camps have two technically incompatible agendas
  • both technically incompatible agendas have merit
  • hub should fork, stakes shouldn’t be slashed

Context: I think the issue is incompatibility, and the hub’s lack of a constitution, and direction. I’d say that the right move is to have an active hub and a passive hub as active vs. passive are really the key differentiators.

For all we know for sure, the shrink is just another stakeholder trying to maximize atom value.

Chiming in again just to say, right or wrong, it’s not about cowardice, it’s about usefulness of actions toward intended goals.

The question here in this venue isn’t if the message is warranted or morally wrong or understandable or smart or justified or any of that.

Is it useful? Is it being heard? Does it actually accomplish its intended goal?

There was a pretty hilarious video out recently. It made some harsh points. It “threw big giant rocks” but the hilarity made them foam rocks. Huge. But they land. It communicates as it intends to.

Anything harder bounces off, triggers heavy defenses, causes unintended tertiary harm, etc.

I have no place here judging your messages or goals. Only that they might not align with each other.
People don’t listen to nice diatribes (like this one). They REALLY don’t listen to angry rants. (Whether they should or shouldn’t, merited or not.)

This is true everywhere. All the time.

So if you are getting what you want, if your goals are being accomplished as expected, a good success rate & all, then please nevermind the interruption.

I have been tracking/commenting on this COSMOS experiment now since 2019 officially on Publish0x as Thunderboltkid Kudos to jaekwon, I had to deal with similar skullf’kry when I founded Platespin, ultimately I got tossed by the guys I hired, then they got tossed 6 months later by the VCs who had promised them more interest, then screwed them anyway. JK stay true… tk over and out

Holy sh*t. Absolutely priceless stuff here. Cosmos even got a shrink!

Who would think 20% inflation can produce so much existential angst? Oh, wait. I do.

Technology and adoption wise Cosmos is light years ahead of everybody else because of Jae and Ethan amazing contributions (and of course everybody else) and this ecosystem is absolutely rocking. Big drama always goes with big personalities. If they weren’t big, they’d be no drama. This is Paypal mafia action here. It’s great.

Some much needed reflection, its time for cosmos to move past trauma, developing new tech and launching consumer chains will quickly put the past behind.
