Updates on Atom Intents

Hi @zaki_iqlusion

I’ve been following your recent work on Atom Intents and wanted to get a clearer picture of where things stand and where this is heading.

From the latest updates and discussions, it seems like this could become an important primitive for improving UX and abstraction across Cosmos. I’d love to understand a few points:

  • Vision: What’s the long-term goal for Atom Intents? Is the focus mainly on UX (intent-based execution), or something broader around interchain coordination? Is it aligned with CL vision ?
  • Use cases: What are the main applications you’re targeting right now (cross-chain swaps, automation, gas abstraction, etc.)? How does this differ from intent-based designs we’ve seen in other ecosystems?
  • Design: Are intents relying on off-chain solvers/matchmakers, or mostly on-chain? And what role does ATOM play in the system?
  • Current status: Where is the project today (specs, prototype, testnet)? Any repos or resources you’d recommend to follow progress?
  • Ecosystem impact: Do you see Atom Intents becoming a core primitive for wallets, dApps, or even chains in Cosmos?
  • Challenges & future: What are the main open problems, and what needs to happen for this to see real adoption?

Would really appreciate any insights, this looks like a key piece for the next phase of the Cosmos Hub.

Thanks!
