Good Morning Fellow Cosmonauts!
As a somewhat informal proposal, the Atom Registry is extending an invitation to everyone to thoroughly review our functioning work in progress, and what we are calling “The Interchain Explorer” at https://explorer.atomregistry.com to propose features, fixes, and any additional currently connected Cosmos built chains.
First, a little about the Atom Registry. It’s a completely self funded project, never having deployed an investment asset. The reasoning behind this is that when accepting outside funding for a project, there is an expectation of daily hype and mad marketing that has the unfortunate potential to overpromise and underdeliver.
By funding every aspect of Atom Registry myself, I’ve been able to focus quietly and methodically on hiring some of the best Dev’s around the world to build the various parts and now hopefully, we are full circle back to the informal proposal.
The Explorer will be a completely free Cosmos resource, and will remain so. There is 1 top footer section to monetize it with advertising space which will help keep the lights on and the water bill paid.
Other than that, it can be the user friendly explorer for Cosmos builders and asset investors to research the data points they need.
So there it is in a nutshell. My proposal isn’t much in the way of critical, though the feedback and critique would be very much welcomed. It’s different than nearly all of the other proposals in this category in that it doesn’t ask for, require, or expect anything in terms of funding.
This proposal is just an ask for a few minutes of everyone’s time to help a fellow Cosmonaut out on making a decent build epic.
Thanks!

Love the look and speed however my concerns are the 1000x of actual supply like 493 trillion atoms and proposals not being sorted from the latest to oldest as well as not being able to interact with any. you know see the details and all.

Thanks! Yes I saw that, too. It’s erroring because fmt(raw, decimals) takes a raw micro-denomination value and divides that by 10^dec when it’s being called with decimals=0 which skips the division so uatom stays as-is to display as 493.11T instead of 493.11M. great catch and its being addressed. the other items are being fixed too.
A staging page is set up for revisions at Atom Registry — Interchain Explorer
Thanks!
perfect. another thing is that i don’t see the most recent proposals passed/rejected. like nothing above 900 or 1000 exist apart the one being voted on. sorry if i sound picky.

Oh no, picky is perfect! It’s actually built in under Governance on the main page, though to be fair, it only pulls the most recent data since it functions as a lightweight frontend explorer only. This avoids the need for an Indexer or Database. The main page has been updated with an array of other features, too, all from feedback.
Thanks!

Yeah, the explorer is being moved from a subdomain over to its own dedicated website @ https://atomexplorer.com. It’ll be a bit before the nameservers finish propagating to the new hosting. Just as soon as it’s live, I’ll update you and then jump in the post to update the links and make a forum and X post announcement.

EDITED!
Holy Snanoozles! I just got the whole 404 error deal. It should never have been down during the transition. It’s back online. Sorry about that.
