I’m pleased to report that the Cosmos Dex is successfully creating and cancelling bid/ask offers now for custom cosmos assets.
The Cosmos Dex is Beta testing now @ https://cosmdex.com and everyone is welcome to check it out and provide feedback.
From my understanding, the Cosmos Ecosystem hasn’t had a fully functioning orderbook style dex before so I’m really hopeful that everyone finds it useful.
It is IBC integrated so any asset can potentially trade for any asset anywhere within the Cosmosverse.
I will say the the css styling design leaves much to be desired and I’ll be improving its appearance and usability.
It’s the core smart contract mechanics that I’ve been focused on and with those lined out and reviewed at https://rustaudit.com (my audit engine site) I’ll improve the frontend now.

There may be a misunderstanding about this Cosmos Dex build. By design, it will allow ecosystem wide bid/ask offers on Cosmos assets and ultimately. allow users to create LP’s for their own asset trading.
As an orderbook style dex and trading client, it won’t ever have a liquidity pool of its own. That is user centric and the dex is only a tool for users to build their own bid/ask offers to construct liquidity pools.
The smart contract powering this dex does act as the escrow agent for bid/ask and is built to automate transfers when a specific bid/ask market condition pairs.
As far as usage goes, I remain hopeful that if I build it, they will come. And I believe that they will since no dex that I’m aware of remotely offers the trading range of assets. I’m sorting through Moonpay docs for on and off ramps for ATOM.
