Hello! I’m someone who has recently become fascinated by the Cosmos ecosystem.
I would like to form a team of four, including myself, to create a benchmarking tool for the Cosmos-based blockchain. Initially, we plan to develop a tool at the Proof of Concept (PoC) level, and I would like to share and discuss the features(metrics) we consider important based on the benchmark results.
Some common benchmark metrics might include average latency, tail latency, and throughput. Are there any additional features you think would be beneficial to include?
Also, since we are not very familiar with Cosmos, I would appreciate any suggestions on how to approach this or any resources (or links) that would be helpful. Our goal is to create the benchmarking tool by mid-January 2025, and we plan to write another post introducing the tool once it’s completed.
