New to Cosmos, Looking for Guidance

Hello Cosmos community,

I’m new to the Cosmos ecosystem and really excited to explore its vision of the Internet of Blockchains. I’ve gone through some of the documentation, but I still have a few questions and would love to get advice from experienced community members:

  • What’s the best way for a beginner to start building or experimenting within the Cosmos ecosystem?

  • Are there any recommended tutorials, starter projects, or resources for developers?

  • What are some common challenges that newcomers usually face?

  • How supportive/active is the Cosmos developer community for people just starting out?

Any tips, links, or insights would be greatly appreciated.

Feel welcome to join the (new) official cosmos TG group. The forum is mostly used for governance purposes.

First steps:

The way things usually go is you want to buy into a token - like $ATOM. If you want to participate in governance for instance, you’ll have to stake these $ATOMs

Honestly, the forum is not the best place to guide you through these things so I wanna encourage you to join the group hehe
