Technical questions regarding ATOM and addresses

Hi,

are there any technical documents available in regards to these questions?
– how many decimal places has the ATOM token?
– are there ATOM subunits like Satoshi for BTC?
– is there a fixed length for addresses?
– is there some kind of checksum / address validation method?

Thanks for any help!
